Gioveni House was born from a couple of clients' desire to build a new house in the Emilian countryside to enjoy retirement.

Made as a single volume, the house is divided cross by 4 walls in exposed concrete. Large sliding windows modify the spatiality and inspire the opportunity for living areas to extend outward. In the interior, both  the concrete walls and   the rough  palette, create a sense of calm and separation while the openings frame the views with the colors of nature. Sliding wooden sunshades overlap the windows to allow the light to enter gradually, moving on the entire facade, thus changing the skin of the house.

Outside a young oak was planted next to a heated stone tub. Water, earth and stone thus create the elements of this quiet place where you can relax without haste.
